Solid-solution-strengthened nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy — excellent corrosion resistance and high-temperature strength up to 1800°F. The workhorse for chloride-rich and high-temperature oilfield service, and for aerospace engine hot sections.

When do you spec 625 vs 718?
625 for corrosion + high-temperature (up to 1800°F) service. 718 for high strength (aged 718 is ~150 ksi yield vs ~60 ksi for 625). 625 also welds much better than aged 718.
What's typical lead time on 625?
2–4 weeks in stocked material; 4–8 weeks if material needs to come from mill.
